How to schedule automation in WriteText.ai

WriteText.ai's daily automation runs at one set time, which you configure in Automation settings. That single time controls two things: the product data sync and the new products email.
Setting the automation time
- In your admin sidebar, click the WriteText.ai section.
- Click Settings.
- Go to Automation settings.
- Find the option labeled "Set daily automation time."
- Choose your preferred time.
- Save your changes.
What runs at that time
The scheduled time controls two processes:
- Product sync via REST API — WriteText.ai's servers call your site's REST API at the chosen time to sync product data. This data is used to build and maintain your brand voice settings, including tone and style, which are applied during content generation.
- New products email — The plugin checks for newly added products and sends the new products notification email at the same time.
Both processes run together at the time you set. There is no separate schedule for each.
What automation does not control
Automation does not schedule content generation, bulk transfer, or other WriteText.ai features. These run only when you use them manually.
