Can I schedule text generation for a future date?

No. WriteText.ai does not support scheduled text generation. Whether you're running a single generation or a bulk generation, it only runs when you manually trigger it. There is no option to queue it for a specific date or time.

What does automation cover?

In this context, "automation” refers specifically to the syncing of products between your store and WriteText.ai, as determined by the Automation Settings. This setting should not be interchanged with Full Automation (which is a separate workflow for generating and publishing content; see Is there a faster way to create and publish product texts?).

This covers two things:

• Daily product sync — Keeps your store's product data current by syncing it via REST. This is what supports brand voice consistency across your catalog.
• New records email — Sends a notification when new records are detected in your store.

That's the full scope of what automation handles. Text generation is not part of it.

Running text generation

When you're ready to generate content, you start it yourself, either from the single generation view or through bulk generation. The process runs immediately from the moment you trigger it.
