How can I filter products in WriteText.ai?
In the WriteText.ai dashboard, you can use both native WordPress/WooCommerce filters and WriteText.ai-specific filters to organize and review your products more efficiently.
The native filters for category and stock status work the same way they do in WooCommerce.
In addition, WriteText.ai provides two specialized filter modes: Text status and Keyword status. These filters help you manage your content generation and keyword optimization progress. Only one mode can be used at a time.
Filter by text status
The text status filter sorts your products based on what stage they're currently in in terms of WriteText.ai text generation.
You can first select which text types to check:
- Meta title
- Meta description
- Product description
- Product short description
- Open Graph text
- Image alt text
Once you’ve selected one or more of these text types, you can filter by their WriteText.ai status.
For example, selecting Product description + Not generated will show all products that don’t yet have a generated product description (even if they already have meta titles generated).
Statuses include:
- Not generated – No text has been generated yet for the selected text type(s). This is useful for identifying products that haven’t been touched by WriteText.ai yet.
- WriteText.ai status – Helps you view products based on the last action done in WriteText.ai.
- Generated – Text has been generated but not edited.
- Edited – Text has been modified but not yet reviewed.
- Reviewed – Text has been marked as reviewed in the individual product editor.
- Queued for transfer – Text is ready to be automatically transferred to WooCommerce at the next scheduled transfer time.
- Transferred – Text has been sent to WooCommerce. If the product is in draft, the text is saved there; if it’s published, the update goes live.
- Review status (from browser extension) – If you’re using the WriteText.ai browser extension, you can filter products flagged during content review:
- For rewrite – Products marked in the extension as needing text improvement or rewriting.
- For fact checking – Products marked for factual verification before publishing.
- Without activity – Displays products that haven’t had any recent actions (generation, editing, reviewing, or transfer) within a set number of days.
This filter view helps you easily locate products at different stages of content creation and review, making it simple to prioritize what to work on next.
Filter by keyword status
The keyword status filter lets you sort your products based on the progress of their keyword optimization workflow.
You can filter by:
- With keyword analysis – Products that already have AI-powered keyword research data. Within this group, you can further refine by:
- Keyword/s not applied in text – Keywords identified but not yet used in the generated text.
- Keyword/s applied in text – Keywords integrated into the generated content.
- Keyword/s applied in text and transferred to WooCommerce – Optimized text has already been sent to your store.
- No keyword analysis – Products without any keyword research or optimization yet.
This filter helps track the SEO progress of each product — from keyword discovery to content transfer.
Note: You can only use one filter type at a time, either Text status or Keyword status, since each provides a dedicated view focused on a specific workflow.
