Why do I need to connect my WriteText.ai account?

You must connect your WriteText.ai account because the plugin relies on this connection to access AI services, manage your plan, and generate content. Without it, the plugin cannot function.

What the connection does

When you connect your account, the plugin establishes communication between your store and WriteText.ai's AI services. This is what allows the plugin to:

  • Generate product and category content
  • Process your requests and inputs
  • Track and manage your usage based on your subscription plan

The connection ties the plugin installed on your store to your WriteText.ai account — your plan, your credits, and your settings all live on the WriteText.ai side.

What happens without it

If your account isn't connected, the plugin is essentially inactive. You'll be able to install it, but you won't be able to generate any content or access any features. The plugin has no standalone functionality — it depends entirely on your connected account to operate.

How to connect your account
