How to update WriteText.ai

To update WriteText.ai, use the standard WordPress plugin update process. 

How to update

  1. Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard.
  2. Go to Plugins in the left-hand menu.
  3. Find WriteText.ai in the list of installed plugins.
  4. If a new version is available, an update notice will appear below the plugin name. Click Update Now.

WordPress will download and install the latest version automatically. The process takes a few seconds.

You can also update WriteText.ai from the Dashboard > Updates screen, where WordPress lists all available plugin updates in one place.

What happens if your version is outdated

WriteText.ai checks your installed version against the WriteText.ai API each time you use the plugin. If the API detects that your version is no longer current, a warning will appear in your dashboard. This notice will include information about the update and instructions on how to proceed.

Running an outdated version may affect how the plugin communicates with the WriteText.ai API, so it is worth keeping the plugin up to date when a new version is available.
