What's New in Version 4.3?

Version 4.3 adds product type awareness to content generation, a new way to build template content around real search questions, editable brand voices, and a set of improvements to how WriteText.ai reads product data and handles configuration. Here's what's new.

People Also Ask integration for AEO

People Also Ask (PAA) is a search engine feature that surfaces questions real users are asking about a topic. WriteText.ai can now pull PAA data from the SERPs of your target keywords and integrate the questions into your templates in two ways.

(Note: PAA integration is a Pro feature and requires keyword analysis to be completed for the product first.)

People Also Ask as FAQ source

Check "Source questions from People Also Ask data" when building your FAQ template section to let AI pull PAA data (if available) and answer them in your FAQs.

Questions that appear in search results exist because enough people searched for them, and when your FAQ is built from that source, the content you publish has a direct line to those queries. This improves the chances of your page being surfaced as an answer.

If PAA data is not available, WriteText.ai falls back to generating questions from the product information instead.

Individual PAA question blocks

Unlike the FAQ section, each PAA question block addresses one question independently, giving you more control over placement and format within your template. If no PAA data is available for a product, the block is skipped.

How it works:

  • Each block is built around a single question and produces a focused answer

  • Answers can be formatted in paragraph or list form

  • Each block covers its own question independently without overlapping with others in the same template

 Product type support

Product descriptions work best when they reflect what makes a product distinct. Buyers approach a bundle differently than they would a downloadable product or a product with multiple options or variants, and content that ignores those differences tends to come off as generic. WriteText.ai recognizes the type of product it's generating content for and adjusts its output accordingly.

The following product types are now supported across WooCommerce, Magento, and Shopify:

  • Bundled products A bundle is a pre-set group of products sold together as one package. Content leads with the value of the complete set, with individual items referenced only where they help the buyer understand what they're getting.

  • Grouped products A grouped product brings related items together on one page, but lets buyers choose what they want and how many. Unlike a bundle, nothing is fixed. Content reflects the flexibility of the offering without reducing the description to a product inventory.

  • Variable products / Configurable products / Products with variants Descriptions account for the options available without reading like a specification list. The range of choice is reflected naturally in the content.
Virtual products Content is framed around what the product delivers and how it is accessed. The description does not dwell on the fact that there is no physical item.

  • Downloadable products Descriptions focus on the material itself: what it covers, what it is for, and how it is used. Format and delivery method are not the lead.

No additional setup is required. WriteText.ai reads the product type from your store and applies the appropriate content approach automatically.

 Brand voice editing

Brand voices built from product content or uploaded documents can now be edited directly within the WriteText.ai platform. Once a brand voice is built, you can go back into it at any point and update the tone, vocabulary, or style instructions as your approach evolves.

When editing, keep in mind that changes apply to all content generated across your store going forward. Instructions should be specific, consistent, and free of contradictions, as vague or conflicting guidance can produce inconsistent output.

  Quick save to global settings

You can now save your current settings as global defaults from any point in the plugin, whether you are on a single product edit page or working in bulk.

Previously, global settings had to be configured separately from the generation workflow. Now, once you have configured settings the way you want them, a single click saves them as the default for all future generations across your store.

This is useful for teams where multiple people generate content and need to work from a shared configuration, and for stores that have recently updated their brand voice or template approach and need that change applied consistently.

Product tags as a data source

Product tags can now be included as a data source alongside attributes and meta fields when generating content.
For stores that use tags to carry product context, specifications, or categorization signals, this means that information is now available to WriteText.ai during generation. Tags appear in the product data section by default and can be checked or unchecked to control whether they are considered during generation.

Category filtering in the bulk grid (Magento)

The bulk generation grid in Magento now supports filtering by category. This makes it easier to build targeted generation batches without manually selecting individual products.

You can filter the grid to a specific category, apply your bulk settings, and generate content for that subset without affecting the rest of your catalog.
