When is keyword data refreshed?

In the keyword optimization pipeline, if you’ve set your trigger action to “when page is ranking” within a certain position range in the SERP, keyword monitoring is automatically enabled. This means WriteText.ai will track keyword rankings every 30 days (starting from the latest publishing date of a page optimized with a keyword from the pipeline).

Time-based triggers (e.g., every 30 days) don’t require automatic keyword tracking. The update runs on schedule regardless of ranking changes.

Manual keyword refresh

If you want to check for ranking changes before the next automatic 30-day refresh, you can manually refresh data from within the keyword optimization pipeline. You can also restart AI-powered keyword analysis to generate a new set of keyword suggestions and check for any changes in keyword difficulty, search volume, and intent.

However, this doesn’t guarantee entirely new data, especially if only a short time has passed or if search performance has not shifted much. In most industries, keyword rankings only need to be checked monthly, with more frequent reanalysis being useful mainly in niches where search trends change rapidly.
