Can I skip keyword analysis and use my own keywords?

Yes. If you already know which keywords you want to target, you can enter them directly and generate content straight away, without running AI keyword analysis first.

 How to use your own keywords 

  1. Open the product or category in the WriteText.ai plugin.
  2. Go to the target keywords section.
  3. Type in the keywords you want to use.

  4. Click "Generate selected."

WriteText.ai will skip the AI-powered keyword analysis, and automatically use the keywords you entered when generating the product or category description, meta title, and other content fields. 

When to use this approach

This is useful when:

  • You have done keyword research in an external tool and know exactly which terms to target.
  • You are working with branded terms or product-specific phrases that AI analysis is unlikely to surface.
  • You want to target a specific keyword for SEO reasons without letting the AI suggest alternatives.

How this differs from seed keywords

The target keywords section also supports seed keywords, which are used to guide the AI keyword analysis before generation. The difference is straightforward:

  • If you click Run AI keyword analysis, WriteText.ai uses your input as a starting point and generates a full keyword pipeline.
  • If you skip that step and go straight to generating content, WriteText.ai uses exactly the keywords you entered, with no analysis or pipeline involved.
