Log in and select “Premium” from the left menu then choose your desired credit package. Through our prepaid option, you can purchase 200 credits ($20) or 1,000 credits ($90) which also unlocks premium features without you needing to have a subscription.

If you're already subscribed to a monthly or annual plan, you can enjoy discounted credit packages at 200 credits for $15 and 1,000 credits for $75 as well as access to the 5,000-credit package at $375.

Certain actions within WriteText.ai cost a specific amount of credits. See the table in our credits mix and match page to see how much each action costs. Some text types, such as product descriptions or short descriptions, cost more credits the longer you want the text to be.

For rewriting or generating text using a reference product, the length of your input text (i.e., the text being rewritten or the reference product text) also affects credit cost. This includes hidden HTML tags. See table below for your reference:

Credits - the number of credits being charged.

# of Input characters - the number of characters in the reference text (i.e., from the reference product or the text being rewritten). This includes so-called HTML tags (HTML tags are used to tell the browser how the text should appear to the user, such as bold, italics, numbered or bulleted lists, etc.)

Max. words - the maximum target number of words you have set.

The credit cost for rewriting or generating using a reference product will follow whichever is higher between the input characters and the maximum target number of words.

For example, if you are rewriting text where the input (original text) has 1,400 characters (actual text and HTML tags), then you will be charged 3 credits regardless of if your maximum target number words is up to 200 only. The same goes if your maximum target is 1,000 words; you’ll be charged 6 credits regardless how many characters the input text has.

Out of the box, WriteText.ai takes your product name and (if available) product attributes and uses all this information to generate text. Aside from this, you have the ability to set the tone, style, and target audience in order to influence how the text will be written.

With premium features, you can also set target keywords and select related semantic keywords, add other product details, and write your own custom tone, style, and audience. WriteText.ai will take them into consideration when generating your product text.

The more information available for your product (i.e., attributes, target keywords and semantic keywords, other product details), the more accurate WriteText.ai can be when generating your product text. If you generate text with only the product name as the available information, WriteText.ai will still generate text but it may not be as accurate as when you have more complete product information.

We cannot assure 100% text uniqueness as it's generated by artificial intelligence. However, given that the AI is guided by your keywords (from your keyword analysis) and chosen product attribute(s), there's a high likelihood of producing unique text. The "Other product details" feature enables you to provide written instructions to the AI, enhancing text uniqueness even further.

We recommend reviewing the text prior to publishing to ensure it aligns with your standards and desired uniqueness level.

In general, the more information that you provide about your product (e.g., keywords and semantic keywords, product attributes, other product details), the higher quality the text that WriteText.ai will generate for you, especially if you have a longer target length.

If you encounter nonsensical phrases in the generated text, try the following:

1. Provide more context by adding target keywords and selecting semantic keywords.
2. Ensure that the product attributes are properly set.
3. Add more information in the "Other product details" field.
4. Set a shorter maximum length for product descriptions.

We recommend setting the right keywords (including choosing relevant semantic keywords) for your product so WriteText.ai can incorporate them in generating the text.

It's vital to understand that the text is generated using artificial intelligence, over which we do not have full control. Despite training the various models employed, the AI can occasionally deviate, particularly concerning the length of the generated text.

Consider this scenario: if you set the maximum length at 250 words and the AI is in the midst of text generation, halting at 250 words might occur mid-sentence, rendering the text incoherent. Therefore, the AI will continue writing until it finds a suitable stopping point that doesn't compromise the text quality.

At the beginning of every month, keyword data is refreshed. Should you check your previous keyword analysis after this update, remember the displayed data might not be up-to-date.

You can choose to fetch the most recent keyword data when updating content. Otherwise, no update is needed. Be aware, updating keyword data costs one credit.

To restrict a user's access to WriteText.ai, you'll need to remove them within WordPress/WooCommerce, Magento, or Shopify, or at a minimum, modify their user role to restrict their WriteText.ai permissions.

Yes. The cancellation will be processed at the end of your ongoing billing cycle.

Generally, you will have access to WriteText.ai’s premium features until the end of your subscription period only. However, if you have purchased additional credits that have a later expiration than the end of your subscription period, then you may continue to access WriteText.ai’s premium features until the latest expiration date of any of your purchased credits or when they are all used up, whichever comes first.

You can cancel your subscription either through your WriteText.ai account or directly from Paypal.

In your WriteText account
1. Log in to your account at https://platform.writetext.ai and go to Billing.
2. Click “Cancel subscription”.

In your Paypal account
1. Log in to your Paypal account and click the gear (settings) icon on the upper right of the page.
2. Go to Payments > Automatic Payments.
3. Find WriteText.ai in the list and click Cancel.

When you cancel your subscription, your account will fall back to the free plan at the end of your billing cycle. This means that you will lose access to premium features as well.

If you have previously purchased additional credits that have a later expiration date than the end of your subscription period, then your premium access will remain until your credits are used up or upon their 1-year expiry, whichever comes first.

Yes, you can. If you still have remaining credits in your account, note that these credits will be forfeited when you request to be deleted or anonymized. You can request to delete or anonymize your data by writing to us at hello@writetext.ai.

By default, your personal data will be anonymized from your account after two (2) years of inactivity (i.e., no text generation).

At WriteText.ai, we use multiple APIs to ensure top-quality results. Managing these APIs requires numerous API keys, some of which can be difficult to obtain. To make things easier and more efficient for you, we handle all these complexities behind the scenes. So, while we understand the desire to use personal OpenAI or Google Gemini API keys, we currently do not support this to maintain a streamlined user experience on our platform.

To use WriteText.ai, you'll need to log in as an Administrator for plugin installation and ensure your server setup meets the requirements listed below. 

• See WooCommerce server requirements.
• See Magento system requirements.
• For Shopify, there are no specific minimum requirements as it's hosted by Shopify itself.

Generally, WriteText.ai should run smoothly, but be advised that bulk generating more products at once will demand more server memory.

We recommend starting with 50 products at a time, then increasing to 75 and beyond until you notice any issues.

WordPress WooCommerce

WriteText.ai needs one of the following plugins installed to function properly:

• Yoast SEO
• Rank Math
• All in One SEO

This is because, in a standard WordPress with WooCommerce setup, there aren't specific fields for meta title, meta description, or Open Graph text. Instead, WordPress automatically chooses the text for these sections unless a plugin is installed to save this information.

We could have created our own fields for these but chose to save the data in the existing fields used by the three plugins mentioned instead, depending on which one is installed. This way, WriteText.ai can work smoothly with these plugins, avoiding any potential issues that might arise if we saved the data in separate fields.

Magento

Magento comes with built-in fields for meta titles and descriptions, so no additional extensions are needed.

Open Graph in Magento: Some ecommerce sites may use a third-party or self-developed extension for Open Graph. While installing WriteText.ai, you'll be prompted to select a field for storing Open Graph text. If you do not have a designated field, you can specify this later in the WriteText.ai settings.

Shopify

Shopify provides default fields for page titles and meta descriptions and WriteText.ai utilizes these standard fields to save its data.

Open Graph in Shopify: When you install WriteText.ai on Shopify, it creates a distinct field for Open Graph, in its own database, irrespective of any existing third-party Open Graph module or app. This is due to third-party apps in Shopify storing their data in separate databases.

Consequently, any Open Graph data created in other apps won't appear in WriteText.ai, though it will still display when the page loads.

If you generate and publish your own Open Graph text, WriteText.ai will only update the text for that specific product or products, while other products will continue to fetch their Open Graph data from the earlier app (if any).

Once installed, you can assign users to certain predefined roles specifically for WriteText.ai:

WriteText.ai Contributor - can conduct keyword analysis, generate, and edit all text types.

WriteText.ai Editor - have all the capabilities of contributors, plus the ability to publish all text types.

WriteText.ai Administrator - can perform all actions available to contributors and editors, as well as set system defaults.

With the platform's user role editor, you may also create and define your own custom roles if you so wish.

For WooCommerce, WriteText.ai supports multisite and is compatible with WPML and PolyLang. For Magento and Shopify, WriteText.ai is compatible with multilingual configurations with no need for third-party add-ons.

Module conflicts occur when different modules or add-ons try to modify the same functions or depend on different versions of a module or tools, causing them to clash. This can lead to errors or system crashes.

Developers can resolve these issues by using alternative add-ons, adhering to coding and framework guidelines, or adjusting the code to ensure everything works well together. At times, even a theme might include its own modules that trigger such conflicts. Although the theme itself isn't the issue, one of the modules it introduces could be.

WriteText.ai has been written without any overrides. While this lessens the risk of a module conflict it cannot eliminate it because we have no control over what other module vendors and independent developers change in an ecommerce site.

In the event you experience what you suspect is a module conflict please follow the steps outlined below:

1. Ask your developer to check the installation, maybe using a conflict detection tool.
2. Once the error is identified, reach out to the developer of the module and ask for an update.
3. Failing that, reach out to your own developer and ask if they can solve the conflict.

If you need a developer to solve a conflict you may also contact 1902 Software, the creator of WriteText.ai. 1902 Software builds WooCommerce, Magento and Shopify ecommerce sites and offers ad-hoc support as well.

Note: We offer an installation service for WriteText.ai. The service does not include resolving module conflicts. Any special coding or troubleshooting will be quoted separately.

You must be an administrator in order to modify the default settings. The default settings apply to all users subject to the following:

1. When a new user accesses WriteText.ai for the first time, the settings as set by the administrator are applied to the new user.
2. If a user modifies their “User settings” (see the table below) then these settings remain as modified by the user regardless of if the administrator updates the settings.
3. If the administrator modifies the product description target length (in words) or the product excerpt target length (in words) then these settings take effect immediately for all users regardless of what settings a user has set.

Clicking the ‘Reset’ link under Tones & Styles and Audience, or the "Restore global settings" at the footer of the page will load the current settings as configured by the administrator. This way, it is easy to revert back to the settings used throughout the site in the event that a user has made modifications to their settings.

Bulk generation

When you generate in bulk, WriteText.ai will read the “default settings” and apply these. If you modify the settings before you bulk-generate then please remember that the settings will be reset to the “default settings” when the bulk generation is completed.
This means you will have to set the settings manually each time you bulk-generate if you want different settings than the “default settings”.

You can unlock premium features in two ways:

1. Subscribe to a monthly or annual plan. Our annual plan offers the best deal since it provides you the lowest rate per credit and product from the credits you get in the subscription as well as the discount you can avail when purchasing additional credits. Premium features remain unlocked for as long as you have an active subscription.

2. Purchase credits through our prepaid option. If you don’t want a monthly or annual commitment, you can purchase our 200- or 1,000 credit package which has a validity of 1 year. Premium features are unlocked for as long as you have remaining credits in your account.

WriteText.ai Contributor - can perform keyword analysis, generate, and edit all text types.

WriteText.ai Administrator - can execute all tasks available to contributors and editors, as well as establish system defaults.

Yes, you can choose the type of text you wish to generate by ticking the checkbox next to the desired text type (product description, short description, meta title, meta description, or Open Graph text). Credits will only be deducted for the text types you select.

When you use WriteText.ai to generate your text, you can do it in two different ways.

In WriteText.ai Single, you handle one product at a time; selecting tone, style, and target audience, conducting keyword analysis, picking semantic keywords, setting product attributes, then generating text, followed by review or publication.

Alternatively, use WriteText.ai Bulk for concurrent text generation for multiple products. This mode trims down time, requiring only product selection, tone and style setting, with an optional product attribute selection before hitting generate. It processes at about a minute per product, allowing you to close your browser and revisit later to review the output. Note that WriteText.ai Bulk is a premium feature.

The Single mode tends to produce better quality output owing to the initial steps of keyword and attribute selection.

Upon establishing a new ecommerce site with numerous products, lacking descriptive text or only filled with standard text from the manufacturer or distributor, WriteText.ai Bulk serves as a swift solution to quickly generate text for all products, covering meta title, meta description, product description, short description, and Open Graph text.

While the quality may not parallel that of WriteText.ai Single, it furnishes your ecommerce site with textual content, enriching product pages beyond a product name, images and prices.

It's prudent to limit text to 200 words or less, averting potential inaccuracies from AI over-extension. We advise initially testing with 5-10 products, followed by a thorough review before publication.

This method quickly produces the necessary text, and when time permits, individual product text enhancement can be done using WriteText.ai Single.

WooCommerce: 

While there's no technical limit, you may need to adjust your settings, specifically altering the “Blog pages show at most” to 25, 50, 100, or whatever number of products you wish to generate at once. Exercise caution as increasing this number will increase memory usage by WriteText.ai, potentially leading to a slower system or even a system crash.

Magento: 

The bulk generation limit is determined by the number of products you select in the WriteText.ai list view. Be aware that bulk generating more products could slow down your system, depending on your server configuration and available memory.

Shopify: 

You can generate up to 50 products simultaneously, a restriction imposed by Shopify.

No, there's no need for text import or export. WriteText.ai operates as an add-on within your ecommerce platform (WooCommerce, Magento, or Shopify), directly reading and writing data to the CMS.

Note: Text generated isn't automatically published. After generation, a manual action (a single button click) is required to publish it, allowing you an opportunity to review the text beforehand.

In WriteText.ai, you need to "transfer" your text when it's ready for publishing. In WooCommerce and Shopify, transferring will either save your text as a draft or publish it live, depending on your product’s current status. For example, if the product is already published, the text you transfer from WriteText.ai will automatically be published live. If the product is still in draft, the text you transfer will also be saved as a draft and you will need to publish the product first if you want to see the text live.

There are several ways to transfer text:

1. On a single product page, you can publish by clicking the “>” button which will transfer the text to your ecommerce platform.

2. You can also transfer multiple texts at once by selecting all your text types inside a product page and clicking the “Transfer to WordPress” button at the top right of the page.

3. For bulk transfer, simply go to the product list and select the products with texts that you want to transfer and choose Bulk transfer. Note that this is a premium feature.
